St. Andrew's College

My Motto: Dileas Gu Brath

Best Boarding School Memory: To put a finger on a single moment in residential life and justify it as my greatest memory is difficult. However one of my many prevalent memories is winning the boarding student athlete of the year.

If I Wasn't in Class I Was... Catching up on some much needed sleep, hanging out, or having healthy competition with friends

My Room Looked Like... It served its purpose well-spacious, comfortable, and allowed for personalization.

Proudest Moment: Receiving recognition for the hours I put in for academic, athletic, and social excellence.

Biggest Challenge: Developing the independence and drive to pursue excellence without the constant reminder from parents. This coincides with setting your own goals at the highest attainable standards and doing everything in your power to make them a reality.

My Next Adventure: Making the most out of these very important remaining years at SAC and properly preparing myself for the challenges and opportunities that university offers.

Only at Boarding School Can You... Have the freedom to pursue endless endeavors without ever leaving campus. From practicing lacrosse, to working out, you have all the resources at your disposal. Furthermore, incredible housemasters and housemistresses acting as surrogate parents are constantly going above and beyond to enhance a boarding students experience by organizing inter-house competitions, hosting barbecues and so much more.

Some Advice for my Fellow Boarders: The experience is unforgettable, as St. Andrew's College has become a home away from home. The Andrean code of conduct has developed me into a complete man, as illustrated in the school mission statement. What I will miss most is all the people that I was surrounded by on a daily basis. These individuals looked after my welfare, but most importantly bettered me as a human being.
